Seacrest Recovery Center
Your First Step To A New Life
An Overview Of Our Program
At Seacrest Recovery Center we utilize a unique “Phase Back to Life” approach to treatment. Phase Back means that rather than offer a cookie cutter approach where every client goes through the same process from start to finish, each individual has a unique treatment plan designed for him or her.
All clients start in our Phase 1 Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) where they will attend therapy sessions 5 days a week, Monday through Friday. Alongside that they will reside in our fully staffed, well appointed homes. When they are not in the therapeutic day, clients are engaging in recovery and life skills activities such as AA/NA meetings, finding and working with a 12-Step sponsor, and preparing to find a job.
This is beneficial to the individual who is seeking real recovery from drugs and alcohol because it encourages each person to learn and engage in the recovery lifestyle, while at the same time preparing for a return to normal life.
After stabilizing in to the first Phase of our IOP program, clients gently transition in to Phase 2 IOP. During these Phase, we gradually move the client more towards real life and a little away from treatment. This is done by scaling down to three therapeutic days per week rather than 5, plus an individual counseling session. More emphasis is placed on getting a job, engaging in 12 Step Recovery, the gym, and more group activities. Curfew is extended and a little more responsibility is placed on the individual. Phase 2 generally lasts between 6 and 10 weeks, depending on the individual.
Upon successfully completing Phase 2 of our program, clients then step down in to Phase 3 Outpatient Program (OP). This is really where the rubber hits the road for most clients. They are enjoying all the freedoms of normal life including full time employment and the ability to go anywhere they want, so long as guidelines and protocols are followed. The only difference is that they are still connected to a structured recovery program and living with other like minded people. Clients will still be engaged in one OP therapy session, subject to random drug screening. All while living in the safety and security of our structured living homes.

Partial Hospitalization
Partial hospitalization for addiction treatment is a form of treatment in which the patient does not stay at the treatment facility full time. The patient at a nearby monitored sober living and commutes to the treatment center, usually every day or every other day depending on treatment and the intensity level needed.
This type of hospitalization includes a variety of treatments and therapies. Group therapy is one example; for addicts, hearing the stories of others and being able to relate to their struggles can be an incredibly healing thing. Along with group therapy, partial hospitalization programs offer medication assessments, individual therapy, teaching coping methods, and more. The goal of partial hospitalization is to allow the patient access to full treatment while not limiting their ability to integrate back to a normal routine of living.

- 3 Random Drug Test per weeks and random breathalyzer testing will be done

Intensive Outpatient Program
An intensive outpatient program is a treatment program that is maintenance-focused and allows for intense and in-depth therapy while teaching coping skills to the patients and enabling them to manage their addictions with success and little risk of relapse. Intensive outpatient treatments are not as intensive as partial hospitalization, but they do provide focused care and treatment for a variety of disorders.
This type of therapy allows the patient to go about their regular day, then come to the outpatient center at the end of the day for treatment. There is no residency required, but patients are expected to follow the plan of their treatment and to report to all therapy appointments. Group therapy is a large part of intensive outpatient treatment, and this aspect of it not only helps the individual but holds them accountable to someone other than themselves.
For patients with severe chemical dependencies, intensive outpatient treatment may not be the best option unless those dependencies do not require detoxification. This type of treatment is best suited for those who have non-detox chemical dependencies and/or various eating disorders and sub-categories of depression. As it is not the most intensive of intensive treatments, intensive outpatient programs are best for those who are still able to function at relatively high levels outside of treatment.
Phase IV is our Outpatient portion of the program. This will allow you to begin integrating in to an independent life and having more freedom.
- Attend one OP group and one individual session per week
- Full accountably
- Random Drug tests
- Must maintain a full time job
- Client Must be working with your sponsor and start working to help other recovering addicts and alcoholics
Outpatient Program
Outpatient programs allow patients to stay at home and live their lives as normal while going through treatment. Some outpatient programs are conducted around group therapy. These appointments can not be rescheduled or made to work around any prior commitments unless in case of emergency. Outpatient programs also offer individual therapy, many iterations of which can be shuffled around as needed if a patient has an issue with work or arranging childcare. These programs can also be far less costly to both the patient and any insurance than inpatient programs or anything involving overnight stays or involuntary committals.
During an outpatient program, therapy is the primary factor. Patients can get the help they need while not enduring the stigma that can come along with mental healthcare, especially as it relates to addiction. Many outpatient facilities even offer help on a sliding scale to cater to almost all income brackets; outpatient care in general is very focused on making treatment accessible to everyone regardless of how much money they do or do not have. Individual and group counseling are often blended to offer the patient a chance to better understand how addiction affects not only them, but their families and loved ones and the families and loved ones of their peers.
While outpatient programs are a wonderful addition to addiction treatment, they are generally for those patients who have good mental health aside from addiction. Because they do not offer intensive psychiatric care as inpatient programs do, they may not be the best choice for those suffering from other disorders, such as depression or schizophrenia. More intensive care is needed for such patients, but outpatient care is an ideal choice for people who want to get help but do not want to stop or uproot their entire lives for it.
